After delivering his sermon, Alma regulated the church in Zarahemla then went to the land of Gideon to continue his speaking tour. The people of Gideon were doing much better than the people of Zarahemla had been, so the sermon Alma gave there was much more upbeat. He prophesied of Christ in great detail and encouraged the people to continue in righteousness.
