The other shepherds told King Lamoni everything Ammon had done, and then he was amazed by the story and a bit afraid of Ammon. When Ammon came into the room, the king asked Ammon where his power came from, so Ammon started teaching him about God. After Ammon had taught Lamoni everything from the creation on down, Lamoni prayed for God's blessings then fell to the ground as though he was dead.
